Your recipes are yours.

Your account email, the recipes / menus / notebooks you save, and a small amount of anonymous usage data so we know which features people actually use. That's it.

• Sell, rent, or trade your data.
• Run ads (in Roux or anywhere else).
• Use your recipes to train AI models.
• Track you across the web.

We don't run page-view analytics, third-party trackers, or fingerprinting on this site. Standard server request logs (the kind every web server keeps) exist for security and debugging, and are rotated out on a short schedule.

Recipes and menus you mark as shareable get a public read-only link. Anyone with the link can see them. Anything you don't share stays private to your account.

Export everything as plain text or JSON from Settings, any time.

Deleting your account comes with a 30-day grace period. We sign you out and stop serving your data, but keep it on hand for 30 days in case you change your mind. Sign back in within those 30 days to cancel. After that, your recipes, menus, notes, photos, and account are permanently deleted. Copies in our encrypted backups roll off within 7 more days.
